As we close the chapter on 2024, we reflect on a year of groundbreaking accomplishments and unparalleled growth. From reaching $5 billion in settlement volume to launching impactful partnerships and initiatives, Zeebu has firmly positioned itself as a leader in blockchain-powered settlement solutions.
As we step into 2025, we are more determined than ever to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and unlock new possibilities in telecom and other industries. Here’s a month-by-month journey through our achievements of the year.
January 2024
We rolled out January with significant developments in Web3 world, creating a ripple of excitement.
We successfully completed the alpha trials of Zeebu, with participation from over 80 telecom businesses worldwide. These trials processed over half a billion in telecom settlements, marking a significant step toward Zeebu’s mission of delivering a seamless and instant settlement experience.
Moreover, we expanded our advisory board and welcomed industry stalwarts to our board further strengthening Zeebu's strategic guidance.
We also launched Zeebu PSP version 4.0.1 which marked a substantial advancement for our platform and lays the foundation for future developments.
February 2024
Zeebu launched ZBU Phoenix Protocol, a quarterly auto-burn method that systematically reduces the ZBU supply. We did our first token burn event and removed around 4.7% of the total ZBU tokens from the market.
Moreover, Zeebu participated in Capacity Middle East as a Platinum Sponsor to connect with telecom industry’s leaders.
We also launched Zeebu Telecom Ambassador Program, marking a significant milestone in our journey. The program welcomed 22 enthusiastic ambassadors and generated over 200,000 social touchpoints.
Additionally, we participated in ETH Denver as a Cypher Sponsor where we hosted a keynote session, panel discussion and ZBU Governance Innovation Hackathon to propagate our vision of a truly decentralized economy.
We also participated in MWC Barcelona 2024 where we demonstrated our on-chain settlement solution. We also did an exclusive giveaway and airdrop campaign where attendees got a chance to interact with Zeebu team, platform, and receive amazing rewards.
Additionally, we sponsored “Crypto Leader of the Year” category at the CMC Crypto Awards 2024 by CoinMarketCap.
March 2024
In March, our native token, ZBU got listed on leading cryptocurrency exchanges like Bitget and Biconomy. We also partnered with CoinGecko for a dynamic "learn and earn" campaign.
Moreover, we participated in Americas Wholesale Congress (AWC) as a gold sponsor. We also did an exclusive side event” Zeebu Connect," for leaders in the telecom and connectivity sphere.
April 2024
In April, Zeebu got listed on CoinDCX, India's leading crypto exchange. We also participated in Token2049, Dubai’s premier crypto event as the title sponsor, which attracted over 10,000 attendees from 100+ countries and 4,000 companies.
Moreover, the dedicated Zeebu stage featured industry leaders like Sergey Nazarov (Chainlink), Alex Svanevik (Nansen), Paolo Ardoino (Tether), and Stephan Lutz (BitMEX), hosting keynote speeches, fireside chats, and panel discussions. Our founder, Raj, also joined a panel on "Practical DeFi: Tokenizing Real-World Assets for Real-World Problems."
We also did an exclusive event “Zeebu by the Beach” with a gathering of 200+ industry leaders, enthusiasts, and builders to discuss the future of Web3.
In terms of settlement volume, our platform crossed $1.8 million.
May 2024
Zeebu crossed over $2B in settlement volume. We completed our second token burn event, taking away 4.79% of the total ZBU in supply from the market. Along with this, we participated in International Telecoms Week as Gold Sponsor, the event attracted over 7,000 professionals, industry leaders, and innovators.
We also did a welcome reception for attendees to network in a relaxed setting and a panel discussion to delve into the latest trends in carrier automation and their impact on the future of telecommunications.
Along with this, we participated in Consensus 2024 as a 5-Block Sponsor which attracted 15000+ attendees. We also had an exclusive Zeebu Stage which served as centerpiece for a series of dynamic talks, panels, and fireside chats.
June 2024
Zeebu participated in GCCM Europe 2024 as the Diamond Sponsor, which offered Zeebu a unique platform to illuminate its cutting-edge Web3 platform for the telecom industry.
We also hosted the Official Afterparty Awards Evening Cocktail Reception which gave our team an opportunity to network with the telecom industry leaders.
In June, we also sponsored the Proof of Talk Summit, that brought together over 150 leading speakers and a high-caliber audience of 2,500 C-level executives, industry leaders, and investors. Along with this, we did an exclusive panel discussion on making crypto payments more accessible.
Moreover, we launched “The Crypto Couch” podcast which features our leadership team and the hotshots of the blockchain and telecom industry coming together and discussing how the transformative potential of blockchain technology will impact the telecom industry.
July 2024
We were delighted to be part of Bitcoin 2024, the world’s largest Bitcoin conference, held in Nashville from July 25th to 27th. The event brought together over 25,000 attendees from 94+ countries, including industry leaders and influential figures such as Donald Trump, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Cathie Wood, Michael Saylor, Russell Brand, Edward Snowden, and Bill Miller IV.
As part of our participation, Zeebu hosted the All-Time High Opening Party at Topgolf Nashville. This exclusive side event provided an unforgettable evening filled with networking opportunities, entertainment, and a celebration of the dynamic Web3 community.
Additionally, Zeebu leaders have been featured on the cover of European Business Magazine, and the magazine also featured an exclusive interview with our Founder and CEO, Raj, where he shared Zeebu's remarkable journey, our visionary approach to transforming telecom settlements with blockchain technology, and the exciting future of the industry.
In addition to this, we unveiled ZBU Protocol as a transformative step in the DeFi landscape. This upgrade introduced decentralized liquidity, distributed participation empowering community to contribute to protocol, and an enhanced reward mechanism, recognizing diverse contributions with token incentives.
Key components like the Staking Vault, veZBU tokens, and Liquidity Pools foster a robust ecosystem that enhances liquidity, ensures network resilience, and incentivizes long-term commitment. Core participants—Delegators, Deployers, and On-Demand Liquidity Providers—play vital roles in driving protocol operations and earning rewards.
Moreover, our settlement numbers also grew, and we crossed $3 billion in settlement volume. We also celebrated one year of Zeebu’s PSP launch in July.
August 2024
Zeebu successfully executed its third quarterly ZBU burn event under the Phoenix Protocol, reducing the total supply by 321 million tokens.
We also announced a strategic partnership with SilentSwap, a leader in privacy-focused cross-chain aggregation. This collaboration marked a pivotal milestone as Zeebu continued to reshape the payment landscape. This partnership enables us to deliver private and secure transaction experiences to our platform users.
September 2024
Zeebu participated in TOKEN2049 Singapore as the Title Sponsor and Wholesale World Congress as a Gold Sponsor.
We also announced our expansion to the Base Network, enhancing accessibility, scalability, and faster transactions—crucial advancements for Zeebu's next phase. This marks a significant step towards a multichain future, with our token now operating on Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Base.
Our leaders were honored as 2024 CEO of the Year by European CEO, a prestigious publication serving c-suite executives across 28 countries.
Zeebu was also honored as one of the top 100 crypto and blockchain companies of 2024 by the World Future Awards.
Moreover, we did a podcast with Altcoin Daily and an AMA session, delving into the exciting details of our ZBU largest airdrop and the ZBU protocol.
October 2024
In October, we surpassed $4.4B in settlement volume with 135 active institutions and more than 88,336 invoices settled using 1.23 billion ZBU tokens.
We also partnered with Hacken a leader in blockchain security, to conduct successful audits of two critical smart contracts, strengthening our platform's foundation for secure B2B settlements. Both contracts passed with zero high-severity vulnerabilities, demonstrating Zeebu's commitment to security and resilience in the blockchain space.
Apart from this, we also launched the ZBU Airdrop Campaign. With 60 million ZBU tokens in the reward pool, the campaign aims to incentivize early contributors to the ecosystem, recognizing their support and participation.
The airdrop includes over 20 weeks of ZIP-farming challenges, featuring social, financial, and staking tasks. These initiatives not only drive engagement but also support the ambitious goal of achieving $1 billion in TVL by March 2025.
We also released new podcasts featuring industry leaders like Annabel Helm and Molly Ruland in our Crypto Couch podcast series.
November 2024
Zeebu crossed $4.6B in telecom settlements. With 136 active institutions and over 90,117 invoices settled. This achievement underscored our growing adoption and share in global telecom settlements through blockchain innovation.
Zeebu was trending at #1 on Balancer, with the ZBU-USDC pool driving over $18M+ in swaps in just 24 hours.
Moreover, we officially closed the ZBU protocol waitlist and launched the ZBU airdrop season 1. We also welcomed Charles Menke as the chief growth officer.
December 2024
We recorded $5B in settlement volume with 137 active institutions and 93K+ invoices processed. We partnered with Magna, a token management platform designed to streamline the tracking and distribution of cryptocurrency tokens for blockchain protocols.
By doing so, we distributed tokens to over 53,000 wallets, who joined the ZBU Protocol and participated during waitlist phase, on Base Chain.
Moreover, our ZBU Protocol dashboard went live on Dune Analytics, a leading blockchain analytics platform that allows users to query and visualize vast amounts of data across multiple networks.
